Himes Post Office in Big Horn County was established on July 22, 1908. It was named for the Burlington and Missouri Railroad station at the same location. The station was probably named for Alex Himes, who according to the Worland Grit of January 17, 1907, was one of the most popular conductors on the line. (WSL)
